    He was my Uncle by marriage but even after they divorced I still thought of him as my Uncle Billy. When I was stationed at Shaw AFB, Sumter, SC and I was driving home most weekends I asked him what the best way to go to avoid the traffic of Raleigh as much as possible. He gave me a route that I sometimes still use to this day. Rest In Peace, Uncle Billy. I love you.

    RIP Buc you have driven a mighty long way, time for rest period. Can not think of group at any place or time that was tighter than the big rocking G family. 10/4 for now. Old Spec 4 over and out.

    My condolences goes out to the family for the loss of a really good man Buckeye was my buddy and I was upset because I couldn't make it to his going due to me having Covid I'm going to really miss Buckeye we used to call and talk anytime RIP my friend truly missed. (BUCKEYE)my friend

    Billy T “Billy Buck” “Buckeye” Buchanan, 76, of Kenbridge, Va. joined his family in Heaven on August 10, 2022. He was the son of the late Kenneth K. Buchanan and Lucy M. Buchanan. He is survived by his sons, Jamie Buchanan (Elizabeth) and Andy Buchanan (Ashley); 6 grandchildren, Tristan, Conner, Coda, LuciGrayce, Carter and Avery. One brother, Ronald Buchanan (Sharon); and one sister Elaine B. Crafton. Billy served our country in the Virginia Army National Guard. He was a retired independent truck driver, member of Perseverance Christian Church and member of the Dundas Hunt Club. He enjoyed story telling and being with his grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 3PM at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial donations to the Kenbridge Fire Department, P.O. Box 556, Kenbridge, VA 23944
