My heart is so sad to hear of Pete's passing. I worked with him at Virginia Marble and he was a joy to be around and to talk with. After he retired, he would come by to visit and I was always happy to see him. God bless and comfort you in your sorrow.

Sylvia and family we are so sorry for your loss. We will greatly miss him and all the Yankee talks we all use to have. Mom had her most fondest memory of Pete and her making him coleslaw for the games. He was always kind and friendly and now he is in a place where everyone is as friendly and kind. If there is anything we can do please ask.

Even though I have been away from Victoria for too many years, it was the friendships i made that still tie me there. Even though I had not seen Pete in far too many years, I remember him as a great baseball player and if you needed to describe sportsman, it would be Pete. I was fortunate to have called him friend, but anyone who knew Pete would have said the same...he was their friend.
