    Sarah Clements Daniel, 93, of Danieltown, VA celebrated her birthday in Heaven on May 3, 2022. She was the wife of the late Robert Garland Daniel, Jr; daughter of the late Monroe Banister Clements and Annie Preston Hardie Clements and sister of the late, Edith Riddle, Theo Clements and Charlie Clements. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra D. Stainback Smith (companion, Charlie Parker) of Henrico, NC; her son Ray Daniel (Becky) of Danieltown; her grandchildren, David Stainback (Shannon), Robert Stainback, Dana Smith (Aaron) and Sherri Howerton (Joe); 4 great-grandchildren, Trevor Stainback, Cassidy Smith, Ryan Howerton and Emma Howerton. Sara enjoyed sewing and crocheting.

    She was a devout christian and devoted member of New Hope Christian Church in Alberta, VA, where the family will receive friends Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 10AM until start of services at 11AM. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Clarke Funeral Home, Kenbridge, in charge of arrangements. www.clarkefh.com
