I worked with Lew in the old days at Heironimus. I would work up his interior design proposals and then he would take me on a tour of the homes after project completion. What a joy it was to work with such a dedicated professional! Please know that thoughts and prayers are being sent during this difficult time. It was a privilege to know Lew, and I will remember him with fondness. Sandy

Llewellyn Landon Snead, III, (Lew) of Roanoke VA died September 10, 2021. He is survived by his three sisters and their families, Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Poole, Mrs Betty May Farrar and Mrs. Nancy Thomas Chappell; three nephews and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Llewellyn Landon Snead, Jr. and Hazel Thomas Snead and by his partner David Dorn Belcher. Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 11:30AM at the Kenbridge Heights Cemetery, Kenbridge, VA. A celebration will follow at the home of Nancy and Chippie Chappell, Kenbridge, VA. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial donations to Christ Lutheran Church, 2011 Brandon Avenue, SW, Roanoke, VA 24015, for Lutheran World Hunger and St. Francis House local food pantry.
