Richard Caswell “Junior” Kendrick, Jr., 91, of Victoria, VA passed away peacefully at his home, with his family by his side, on Christmas day 2022. He was the son of the late Richard C. Kendrick and Ada Roark Kendrick and grandfather of the late Trina Chaffin. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Esther Mae Kendrick; his children, Linda Austin (Clint), Joyce Barber, Donnie Kendrick all of Victoria; Libbie F. Barber (Brad) of Elon NC and Debbie Wilmouth (Roy) also of Victoria; grandchildren, Chad Williams, Richard Kendrick, Crystal Sutherland, Bianca Barbour and Amber Wilmouth; 10 great-grandchildren; cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Richard served our country in the U.S. Army and retired from Lea Industries. He loved Thrifts Chapel United Methodist Church where he was a member. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and going places with his daughters. He loved going to watch Brad and Amber play ball. He was a true Charger Fan. He also enjoyed watching, baseball, football and westerns on TV. He was a true friend to his community and never turned down the opportunity to help others. He loved spending time with his family. Graveside services will be held 2PM Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Cool Springs Christian Church, 2852 Ontario Road, Keysville, Va.
